Last visit ever

So Andy was here for a visit from Friday to Monday. Can't believe it was the last visit before the big move!!

We had a great weekend. On the Friday I met him after work and we went for a couple of drinks. After that we headed home for dinner and then watched all the TOWIE episodes we had missed ;)

On Saturday we went to town in the afternoon, we walked around for a bit and then had an amazing sushi dinner at Bauer! Best sushi I've ever had!

On Sunday we went to my mum's for fika in the afternoon. After that I wanted to show Andy where I grew up so we took the t-bana to Husby and walked around there for a bit. I was surprised about how much had changed since I used to live there, the area looked a lot better now! After Husby we headed back home and went for a walk around this lake that's close to where I live. Great weekend all in all!

Parkhäng

Swedish summer is amazing! And when the weather turns warm something happens to the Swedes, they start living again! After a miserable winter everyone sort of comes back to life.

Hanging out in parks (parkhäng) is a big thing over here. People meet up and have wine, beer, snacks, BBQ and maybe play a game of kubb!

I've been to two different parks this week. Catrin had a bday thing in Tantolunden on Thursday so we had a mini BBQ and some wine. It was really good to see the girls again!
Yesterday I met up with some old uni friends (Mia, Annalisa and Therese) at Rålambshovsparken.
We don't see each other that much as we've all been living in different places. Therese lives in Australia but was visiting for the summer. It was really good to catch up with them!

Beautiful Stockholm

Today was spent at the beach with my mum and sister. It is so warm in Stockholm at the moment!!

Friday night in Södermalm

Yesterday I met up with Camilla, the girl who I studied with in London. It's weird to meet up here in Stockholm now that we're both back. When we were in London, we used to have this thing of only speaking English with each other, yesterday we switched to Swedish, it was strange!
We went for sushi and a few drinks on Söder, it was a good night!

It was even warm enough to eat outside!

We went to an English pub before heading home. Yes, the Stella is mine, I really wish I had learned to drink ales in England but they're just too still for my taste.

Great day!

I had such a nice day yesterday! Mikaela, Jasmin and I went for lunch at TGI Friday's in Kungsträdgården. After that I went to Frida's for some Indian takeaway and wine :)

I've been sitting in and studying all day so decided to go out and read for a bit. It's about 20 degrees in Stockholm!! Finally! :D

Spring!!

The weather was amazing yesterday! It's really starting to feel like spring in Stockholm. I went to my mum's for a few hours and then for a walk after. It's really nice to go out walking around where she lives.

Drinks

So I went out for drinks with Frida last night. The weather was amazing and we had a couple of drinks at Debaser at Medborgarplatsen.

After that we walked down to Slussen and went to Debaser Slussen for a few more. Got lucky and got this amazing sofa to sit in, could've easily fallen asleep in that thing!

I gotta say, I know I moan a lot and complain about how cold and dark it is here most of the year. But Stockholm during the summer? Theres no better place to be <3

Ok, think I've figured out the mobile blogging app now!

Just spent a couple of hours on the beach with Jenny and the kids. The weather is so nice but I decided not to take my bikini since the plan is to go to town and meet Frida right after the beach. Ended up regretting that choice, it was crazy hot sitting there in jeans and a shirt!

Anyway, on my way to meet Frida now. I love Stockholm when the weather is like this!
